On June 7, 2026, RAFT for America will launch the 2026 season on the Lehigh River, hosted at Whitewater Challengers in Weatherly, Pennsylvania.  Set on a forested campground, this site is owned and operated by Ken Powley, the inspiration behind RAFT.  The Lehigh holds special meaning for RAFT. Our very first trip in 2024 took place here and brought together a diverse cross-section of Pennsylvanians—including State Senator Dave Argall and one of his opposing constituents, Charlee. That event set the tone for what RAFT could be. In 2026, we return to build on that momentum, bringing together another extraordinary group for a day of shared adventure and conversation centered on Economics, Taxes, and Jobs—issues that sit at the heart of personal wellbeing and of strategic importance to business leaders navigating an uncertain economic landscape.

Participants will dig into foundational economic questions—what drives prosperity, what holds it back, and how communities and employers should respond. Conversations may touch on the role of capitalism, the impact of taxes and regulation, the economic effects of immigration and tariffs, and whether reducing workplace polarization should be a business priority. 

These discussions will give participants a rare opportunity to test assumptions, broaden understanding, and consider how economic choices ripple through families, workplaces, and local economies.
